Content & AI Policy
What you may upload, what Beauty Bee does with it, and how to describe the results honestly.
Takes effect when Beauty Bee opens to the public
Only upload photos or outfit references you have the right to use. Beauty Bee sends the source images needed for generation to an AI provider to make your AI Twin or content. What comes back is AI-generated — use it to show your style, not to prove a result you did not produce.
What you may upload
You may upload a photo or outfit reference if one of these is true:
- You took it, or you paid someone to take it and own the result.
- You have the photographer's permission to use it this way.
And if a person in the photo is recognisable, you need their permission as well. A client's face belongs to your client, not to your business, and their consent to being photographed in your chair is not the same as consent to being turned into your marketing.
You may not upload:
- Photos of anyone under 18.
- Photos taken from another professional's page, a search result, or a stock library you do not hold a licence for.
- Photos of a person who has asked you not to use their image, or who has withdrawn permission they gave before.
Beauty Bee asks you to confirm this before creating a Twin or starting a generation, and refuses the request without it. Ticking that box when it is not true breaks this policy, and the responsibility for the photo stays with you.
What happens to your upload
Plainly, so there are no surprises:
- Your upload is stored on Beauty Bee's servers. Video face scans are temporarily unavailable. Previously created scan-based Twins retain their private source video and sampled still frames.
- To create your Twin or content, the source images and the instructions are sent
to fal.ai, a third-party AI provider, which runs the models that
do the generating. Images are made with
nano-banana-proand video withkling-video. - A Twin's generated angles are estimates. Beauty Bee stores each angle as a separate private file and asks you to review the Twin before it can be reused.
- fal.ai applies its own content rules and can refuse a request. When that happens the job fails and does not use your generation allowance.
- Beauty Bee does not sell your photos, scans, or AI Twin, and does not use them to train AI models.
If you are not comfortable with a photo leaving Beauty Bee's servers, do not upload it. There is no way to generate content without sending it to the provider. How Beauty Bee handles your information more generally is covered in the Privacy Policy.
What you may not create
- Content showing a real, identifiable person who has not agreed to it.
- Content that impersonates another professional, salon, or brand.
- Sexual content, content sexualising anyone, or content involving minors.
- Content that harasses, demeans, or incites hatred against anyone.
- Anything unlawful where you or your clients are.
Review before Beauty Bee posts
Finishing a reel never posts it automatically. The publication review shows the connected destination, caption, and platform-specific choices before you confirm. Deselect any platform you do not want. Beauty Bee sends the media, copy, and settings only to the destinations in that final confirmation.
You must have the right to publish the full post, including its video, photos, music, voice, trademarks, links, and claims. A song that is available inside a platform's own editor is not necessarily licensed for an upload made through another service. Do not confirm a post unless you have the rights and permissions its destination requires.
If the review offers a place tag, choose only a real platform location that is relevant to the post. Beauty Bee will not turn an unsupported location into caption text.
Say when it is AI
Social platforms have their own, changing rules for synthetic or AI-generated content. Beauty Bee presents supported disclosure controls during review, but a platform may apply additional labels or require choices that depend on the content and account. Following the current rules of every destination you select remains your responsibility.
There is a bigger reason than platform rules.
In beauty, a before-and-after is a claim. It tells someone what your hands can do. If the “after” was generated, the claim is not true, and the client sitting in your chair expecting that result will find out. That is the line between marketing and misleading — and in most places it is also the line between advertising and false advertising.
So:
- Do use Beauty Bee content to show your style, announce offers, teach, and fill your feed.
- Do not present a generated image as a photograph of work you actually performed on a specific client.
- Do not put a generated image beside a real photo as a before-and-after pair.
- Keep real results real. If you are showing what you did, show what you did.
Someone else's photo or likeness
If you believe content made with Beauty Bee uses your photo or your face without permission, email [email protected]. Tell us where you saw it and what you are claiming, and we will look into it. If you own the copyright, say so and we will treat it as a takedown request.
When this is broken
Depending on what happened, Beauty Bee may remove the content, suspend generation on the account, or close the account. Anything involving a minor or a non-consensual image is closed immediately and without warning.
