Refund Policy

Prepaid credits and generation requests

The base rate is 10 credits per $1. Some packs include clearly labeled bonus credits. Purchased and included bonus credits do not expire. The number needed for a video depends on your selections and resolution and is shown beside Generate before you confirm.

An accepted generation uses its quoted credits upfront. There is no automatic adjustment or credit return based on the final generation cost or outcome. Resuming existing saved work does not create another charge. An extra take or retry that requires a new paid generation displays its own credit total before you confirm. Choosing existing clips, stitching them, and downloading your finished Reel do not use additional credits.

If a credit purchase is refunded or reversed, its remaining credits, including the associated bonus, are removed. These terms do not limit refund rights required by applicable law.

Existing allowance-based projects

A failed generation does not use your allowance. This applies to projects accepted under the earlier monthly or purchased-generation allowance system. Their original allowance rules remain in effect; they are not converted to prepaid-credit charges.

Cancelling an existing plan

New credit purchases do not create a subscription. If you already have a monthly plan, its cancellation rules below still apply.

Cancel any time from Account. When you do:

Cancelling is not the same as a refund. It stops what comes next; it does not return the month you are currently in. If you want that month back too, ask — see below.

Asking for a refund

We look at refund requests one at a time, on their facts. There is no form and no script — email [email protected], tell us what happened, and we will give you a straight answer within five business days.

Things that usually mean yes:

Things that usually mean no:

None of that is a rule we hide behind. If your situation is not on either list, or you think we have it wrong, say so and a person will read it.

Existing Extra Content Sets

Previously purchased Extra Content Sets remain available until you use them, including across a plan change. They require an active plan. Unused Extra Content Sets are generally not refunded because they are still available to use. If you bought a set by accident and have not used any part of it, ask.

If we issue a full refund for an Extra Content Set purchase, its unused generations are removed when Stripe confirms the refund. Content already delivered and a generation already in progress are not undone. A partial refund does not automatically remove a fraction of a Content Set; we review it so the amount and remaining access can be handled accurately.

Closing your account

Closing your account is not a refund request. Your plan is paused, everything is held for 30 days, and you can restore it. If you also want money back, say so in the same email — closing an account does not automatically trigger one.

Once the 30 days pass, the account and any unused monthly or purchased generations are gone for good.

How refunds are paid

Back to the card you paid with, through Stripe. Typically 5 to 10 business days for it to appear, depending on your bank. We cannot send it anywhere else.

Before you call your bank

If a charge looks wrong, email us first. We can usually fix it the same day. A chargeback takes weeks, costs us a fee either way, and automatically suspends your generation access while the bank decides — which helps neither of us. If the dispute closes in our favor, we restore only the access that dispute suspended. If the bank decides the payment should be returned, the related unused purchase access is removed and generation access remains suspended while we resolve the account.

Your legal rights

Nothing here takes away rights you have by law. Depending on where you live you may have statutory rights to cancel or be refunded that go beyond this policy, and those come first.
